Boys Room MAKEOVER

The renovations continue to my nine year old son Caleb's room, his got a few fresh coats of paint and a new dresser. I wanted to get a bed foot board and headboard but that will have to wait a few more months. He is happy for the outcome of it. Before we bought this place last year we were renting it, its a small 1,000 sq ft condo and previous to that my son and I shared a very small one bedroom 700 sq ft apartment. He had his own room, but had to share space with me. So we both are happy that he has his own space now.

I knew we wanted to do modern colors and to highlight a accent wall. We went with a nice Navy Blue for the accent wall and Grey for the rest of the walls. Started off by taping everything off and then started rolling on the paint.

I was really liking this color choice by this point

Decided to donate/consign a ton of toys as well, less clutter!

Final outcome, we also added a new tall bookcase to the left of his bed and took out one entire large bookcase that was filled with toys & books.

New dresser
Re-placed all knobs with fun glass ones and all outlet covers got modern brushed nickel covers, doors all got new coats of paint as well. He will be getting new carpet in his room early next Spring.
